WILL WELLS NAMED AS RECIPIENT OF 2009 AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN HERPETOLOGICAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Today Will Wells of Surprise, Arizona became the recipient of SWCHR's 2009 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography.

The annual award consist of a plaque mounted certificate along with a $150 cash award. Please click here to learn more and to view Will's award-winning photograph.

The Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography will continue to be presented on an annual basis. Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research is hopeful of being able to increase the cash portion of the award at some point in the future. SWCHR is very pleased with our three years of sponsoring this award program that allows us to recognize and reward individuals who demonstrate a high degree of photographic excellence in the field of herpetology.
