SWCHR ANNOUNCES PHOTO OF THE MONTH WINNER FOR  SEPTEMBER, 2008

The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that Chris Newsom's image of a breeding pair of Western Green Toads (Anaxyrus debilis insidior ) taken in Dona Ana County, New Mexico has been selected as our Photo of the Month for September, 2008. Our congratulations to Chris on his winning photograph for the month of September. Having one of his images selected this year as a Photo of the Month qualifies him a nominee in the competition for our 2008 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography which will be presented in February of 2009. The Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography consist of a cash award and a plaque mounted certificate.
