SWCHR ANNOUNCES PHOTO OF THE MONTH WINNER FOR MAY, 2012

The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that Orry Martin's photograph of a Western Diamond-backed Rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox) taken while he was herping in Hudspeth County, Texas has been selected by our members as our Photo of the Month for May, 2012. Our congratulations to Orry Martin on his second Photo of the Month win for 2012.

Having just one of his images selected during the year as a Photo of the Month earns Orry a cash award of $25.00 and automatically qualifies him as a nominee in the competition for our 2012 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography which will be selected and awarded in February of 2013.
