WELCOME TO THE SOUTHWESTERN CENTER FOR HERPETOLOGICAL RESEARCH (SWCHR)

21 Feb 2007

For those of you who have just stumbled into the new Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR), I would like to welcome you. The concept of this site was born last year, but we have only this past week started uploading the infrastructure of what we hope will become an all-around resource and clearinghouse of information for those having a serious interest in the herpetology of the Southwestern U.S. or in the captive breeding and husbandry of species native to the Southwestern U.S.

We invite you to stay with us as we continue developing the SWCHR web site and as we begin to populate the various sections. We will soon begin to be in need of contributions from our users in the form of articles, papers and photographs. If you have material that you would like to contribute and share with others in the herpetological community, please feel free to contact us by email. Likewise, we welcome your suggestions as we continue in the development process. Once again welcome to the Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research.
