Distribution:  In our region, this species occurs in scattered populations throughout the eastern third of Texas including the Gulf Coast barrier islands as far south as Corpus Christi where it appears to intergrade with Lampropeltis triangulum annulata.

Legal Status:  The Louisiana Milk Snake has no protected status in our region.
