Distribution: In our region, this species occurs only in the central and southern portions of Texas, including the Gulf Coast barrier islands near Corpus Christi where it appears to intergrade with Lampropeltis triangulum amaura.
Legal Status: The Mexican Milk Snake has no protected status in our region.
