Distribution:  In our region, this species occurs only in Cochise, Pima and Santa Cruz Counties of Arizona and in the extreme southwestern corner of Hidalgo County, New Mexico. All of these counties are adjucant to the Mexican border.

Legal Status:  In New Mexico Senticolis triaspis intermedia is protected under state law as a Threatened Species. The species has no protected status in Arizona.
